Donum’s AI Switch lets teachers turn AI access ON or OFF on connected student laptops from one simple dashboard switch, making it easy to move between AI-supported and AI-free learning.
Teachers can instantly see which student devices and applications are ready, helping them manage AI use with confidence during lessons. When AI is switched off through a simple switch, access to supported AI features in tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides is restricted. AI features are instantly restored when the teacher switches AI back on.

The Educator Behind Donum
Zac Brygel is an Australian teacher who has spent six years teaching in Australian Primary and Secondary schools, whilst also tutoring privately. Since the large-scale emergence of generative AI in schools and the workplace, Zac realised that schools are not properly equipped to:
- Teach their teachers how to use AI to improve lesson planning, administration work, and parent communication.
- Properly personalise education with AI and make it more engaging.
- Teach their students how to use AI safely and effectively to support their studies.
- Teach their students the crucial AI skills they need to thrive in future workplaces dominated by AI.
- Adjust curriculum, homework and assessments to be relevant and safe in the AI age.
Zac’s intention is simple – to fill these gaps by providing targeted, research-based AI workshops for teachers, and by developing a wide range of relevant, practical AI software solutions for students, parents, and teachers.
